Hi there! My name is Aimee Zen. I've just moved to Riverview after graduating from college. My parents gave me the money to buy this little house. It's not much, but it'll do for now.
I have alot of goals in life. Primarily I want to get married and have a bunch of kids. As far as career goes, I went to college and got my degree in literature but I'm not sure there is alot that one can do with such a degree.
Being new to town, I decided to go down to City Hall and see if there were any job openings. When I arrived, I noticed there were a bunch of people standing around picketing the Mayor! They were calling him a clown and his administration a 'joke'.
Then this one old guy tried to convince me to join in. I told him I was new to town and knew nothing about the Mayor. He looked like he got mad, but oh well.
After seeing these folks in action, I was beginning to question whether Riverview was the right place for me.
Just then, a guy came out and asked me if I was planning to join the picketing. I told him no, then I went into this long conversation about how I was new to town and not really into politics anyway. I was rambling becuause he was kinda cute. I do that when I'm into a guy. Then he told me who he was....yeah...the Mayor of Riverview. I felt so embarrassed.
That night I was fixing myself some dinner and all I could think about was what a fool I had made of myself. Telling the Mayor I wasn't into politics....I guess that blew my chances of a date.
The next morning, this guy named Rainer stopped by. He told me that he was about to be deployed overseas...he was in the military...and wanted to know if I could keep an eye on his house while he was gone. I agreed. I admit, I wasn't really attracted to him at first, but I knew I wasn't getting any younger.
Since he was leaving the next morning, I invited him to eat dinner with me. He told me I had a nice house and asked me about my family. Just general chit-chat I guess.
After dinner, he thanked me for the lovely meal, and for being so kind as to watch his house while he was deployed overseas. As we hugged, I felt....odd. I just felt this connection to this guy and I didn't know why.
Rainer and I decided to watch a movie. He was nervous about his deployment and said he could use some company on his last night here. More chit-chat. Mostly me talking endlessly about college and how I was looking for a job.
As he got up to leave, Rainer and I hugged and then we just started kissing. It was one of the weirdest moments of my life! It was unexpected and unplanned and.....really nice! After the kiss, he assured me that he never does this...that he doesn't know what it is about me, but he just felt like it was right. I told him I felt the same way. I told him I had been really lonely being new in town, and asked if he would mind sleeping over. After I said it, I couldn't believe the words that had come out of my mouth! To my surprise, he agreed.
I think we both knew what was coming. We started kissing, and just couldn't stop. He's a great kisser! We made love all night and finally fell asleep in each other's arms.
The next morning, I knew he had to leave. I didn't want him to go. He promised that he would email me as soon as he could and told me that he knew it was crazy, but he was in love with me! I didn't tell him I felt the same way. I guess part of me was worried he would be killed and I would be heart broken.
